Ecommerce coaching with me, Nicola Smith, means rolling up sleeves and getting into the nitty gritty of your business to make improvements - to achieve your goals and targets.
We’ll dig deep into what’s working, what’s broken, and where you're missing potential and leaving money on the table.
For some shops that means fixing product pages, messaging or checkout leaks.
For others it’s about email, traffic, pricing, profit margins, AOV or LTV.
Whatever the issue, I’ll guide you on how to fix it.
How much ground we cover during our ecommerce coaching sessions depends on three things:
1. Your shop - the specific issues and challenges you're facing
2. Your work between sessions - what you're able to put into action after each call
3. Your preferred approach - whether you want fast “do this, change that” direction, or prefer hands-on guidance where we fix things together - so your to do list is shorter
Either way, you’ll leave each session knowing what to do next and feel confident it’s the right move to get you where you want to be.

How Ecommerce Coaching with Nicola Smith Works
Think of me like a mechanic but for your shop, not your car.
You can tell me what you think is wrong, but before we dive in for the obvious solution, I’ll check things over myself.
Sometimes the “symptom” you want to fix has a different root cause.
My job is to find it and give you the fix that matters.
You can choose from two ecommerce coaching packages:
- Catalyst: 3 x 1:1 coaching sessions (around an hour each)
- Ecommerce Intensive: 6 x 1:1 coaching sessions (around an hour each)
There's quite a lot of flexibility in how you can use your coaching sessions - because every business is different and I work around you.
Sessions are video calls, which are recorded. You'll be sent the links you need ahead of time. Though if you'd prefer to meet in person in a lovely coffee shop near me, we can make that happen - just ask.
Each session is around one hour. I don’t clock-watch. We wrap up at a sensible point - I’d rather finish a little late than leave you hanging.
You can space sessions however you like - monthly is most common, weekly works too, or you can take them all in one day if that suits you.
After you book, I’ll email to agree the first date. Future sessions are booked at the end of each call.
In the sessions, we can work in two ways (or a mix of both):
- Hands-on: we fix things together, live.
- Guidance: I give you direction and you go implement.
Both work.
The right pace depends on how you learn and what gets you results.
You should know:
If you can’t make a session, no problem, let me know as soon as you can, we’ll rearrange.
But if you don’t show up for a session, I’ll wait 15 minutes then leave. The 15 minutes will be deducted from your next session time.
How soon can we start Ecommerce Coaching?
As soon as we can find a mutual space in our diaries.
What’s the difference between Catalyst and Ecommerce Intensive Coaching?
The onluy difference is the number of sessions.
Catalyst is 3 sessions.
Ecommerce Intensive is 6 sessions.
So it depends how much help and support yo uneed.

What if we need to pause or reschedule?
There is a 12-month window to complete sessions which gives you flexibility for holidays or unexpected delays. We'll reschedule as needed.
If something happens which means you need a longer pause, let me know and we'll figure it out.
How long and how frequent are the sessions?
Each coaching session will be aprox. 60 minutes.
Occasionally we may go over, if required. Occasionally we may also finish 5 minutes early, if we've covered everything needed.
What if I need more than 6 sessions?
That’s when Growth Partner (12 months of coaching and support) makes sense. If you’re ready for longer-term accountability and change, it’s the next step.
Will you tell me exactly what to do?
Yes.
However this isn't a dictatorship, so we will discuss options and decide what is best for your business in your circumstances.
This isn’t vague advice - you’ll get straight answers with tough love, practical fixes, and clear direction.
Whether you prefer me to show you how or give you the list, you’ll leave knowing what needs doing.
Do I need to prepare anything?
Not much. You’ll fill in a quick form after booking so I understand your shop and main challenges and so I can have a quick look at your business before we get started - that way we hit the ground running.
What platforms do you work with?
Whether you use Shopify, Woocommerce or another platform I can help. I've worked with most.
For Email marketing I can also work with multiple platforms from Klaviyo, Kit, Mailerlite, Mailchimp.
And if I haven't used your platform before - I'm a fast learner!
I find it isn't the platforms that make the difference - it's how you use them!
Can I meet you in person?
Yes.
If you're happy to travel to Studley, Warwickshire and you'd prefer a face-to-face session in a coffee shop, I’m happy to make that work.
What if I can’t make one of the ecommerce coaching sessions?
If you let me know in advance, we’ll rearrange.
If you don’t show up, I’ll wait 15 minutes but that time will be deducted from your package.
Very occasionally I may need to rearrange too, it goes both ways, so I like to be as flexible as I can be.
