Handmade marketing can be stressful and feel like blinking hard work, it really shouldn’t be that way!  I don’t want you to feel that way!   I absolutely love marketing handmade, sharing the love – it is the best job in the world (after the creating and crafting obviously!)  So from now on I want you to remember these three little words, and use them as the focus for ALL your craft business marketing, whether its on social media, sending out emails, craft fairs… anything at all.

#craftbiz episode 2 : 3 very important little words to remember for handmade business marketing!

daily #craftbiz chatter with Nicola SmithWhat is Daily #CraftBiz Chatter?

Every Monday to Friday for 6 weeks I will be using FB Live over on A Handcrafted Business Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/AHandcraftedBusiness.   Two reasons behind this – first I want to really test FB Live and see how it affects page reach as I’ve heard really good things! (Then I can advise you!)

And two because it pushes my comfort zone.  Now I know I am always creating video training, I run live Q&As for my Academy every single month and I eagerly run free webinar training too (in fact I just set a date for the next one – watch this space!)  so you’d think that this would be completely in my comfort zone!   OMG it so isn’t!!   I can’t explain it, but Facebook Live is completely different! It really does feel like you are talking to yourself.   I’m sure I’ll get used to it, but right now it is really tough – I am having to ‘eat the frog’!  But when you run your own business you have to step out of your comfort zone – so here I am.

So if you are around on Facebook and you see me, pop a comment on to say ‘Hi’ – it really does help knowing that someone somewhere is watching!  If you want to make sure you don’t miss a live episode then you can subscribe on FB for notifications, or I’ll be posting them all on my YouTube channel too – so you can subscribe to catch them there too.

‘Eat That Frog’   – a phrase which Brian Tracy coined in his book of the same name –Eat That Frog!: Get More of the Important Things Done – Today!
